Enter a world where pleasure walks with betrayal, desire clouds judgment, and powerful men meet the women who unravel them. In the Keane’s Women series — Sugar and Smoke, Velvet and Vice, and Steel and Surrender — dark romance collides with high-stakes intrigue, and passion comes at a price.

From luxury penthouses to shadowed secrets, each novel follows a fierce, complicated woman drawn into the orbit of the enigmatic Grant Keane — a billionaire with buried sins and irresistible charm. As love tangles with lies, and sensual games turn deadly, these women find themselves fighting their own demons, facing external threats, and finding their own identities.

Perfect for fans of twisted romance, morally gray characters, and dangerous chemistry, Keane’s Women delivers a lush blend of erotic tension, emotional depth, and psychological suspense.

Up until a few years ago, I never would have thought of myself as a writer. Let alone a writer of dark romance. If you’d suggested it, I would have laughed.

But then a dear friend of mine, Linda, and I were chatting over soup and sandwiches at Panera Bread one day. Romance novels came up, and we half-seriously joked that we should team up and co-write one. Just to see if we could do it.

To my grief, Linda passed before this idea could become a reality. In her memory, I set out to write, not just a romance novel, but a series of romance novels that appealed to readers who also enjoy suspense. Linda was no mental slouch. Thus, I also thought it only appropriate to try to write something at least halfway intelligent, for her sake. Something with three-dimensional characters and emotional depth. Something that took tropes and gave them a twist. These books are my attempt.

And I’ve discovered I love it.

I really wish you were here for this, Linda. I consider this as much your project as my own.

And I hope you, the reader, get as much out of reading these stories as I do writing them. I also hope that, through them and through my newsletter, we’ll all get to know each other!
